MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his international impact. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is from an instrumental background. Both his mother and elder brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is essential. He began playing the saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano as a young child. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed the course of his life.
