Rosalia

Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop artist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the outskirts of pop and traditional music. Her voice has been described by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer is her second album that was made available in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in March 2022 following performances of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to have an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
