Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His career began with television performances, such as Opposite Sext in 2000. After appearances in a variety of film for teens, such as 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in several films that adapted comic books and graphic novels, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition as Steve Rogers/Captain America. This included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also was as Captain America in The Avengers Age of Ultron in 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. The work he did on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the top-paid actors.
